Janet's Hash Brown Casserole (like Cracker Barrel's)


10 1/4 ounce can condensed cream of chicken soup

8 ounces Colby cheese, grated

1/2 cup melted butter or margarine

1 small onion, minced

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

2 pound bag frozen shredded hash browns

 

Spray a 13x9x2 inch baking pan with non stick cooking spray; set aside.  In a bowl, combine soup, cheese, butter, onion, salt, and pepper.  Gently fold the potatoes into the mixture and pour into prepared pan.  Bake at 350f for 35 to 40 minutes until heated through and top is browned.
